Good Morning Vietnam!!!! Commish here to break everything down from the greatest fantasy league west of the Mississippi River. Being the commish I can say just about all I want and the only repercussion is being made fun of by "The Board," mainly just Grant. Teams have been up and down and lets be honest no one saw Deavy starting 2-1 after keeping a kicker. The one surprise has been Rustad thus far. I mean he had less than 10 wins the previous couple years and last year he comes out of nowhere and makes the playoffs, I can imagine drafting Bell with the number 1 overall pick hasn't helped either. The race for the cah is on and lets begin.
#1 - Two Defenses, One Kupp - Andrew Strand - Previous Spot #1 (+0) Strand is just the juggernaut of fantasy as he has killed it since day 1 and continues his reign as the leader. He also has the most points at a whopping 420 (hehehe) through 3 weeks. He fell this past week to borgen who racked up the most points and still scored more points than 6 other teams so nothing to be concerned about. He enters the Pit-of-Doom against Kyle's JV team led by MacLeod. I do not see why he does not come out with a W and continues to wreak havoc all over the league. Look out come playoff time where his squad bears down and makes another run at the championship. #2 - Send It Like Beckham - Grant Borgen - Previous Spot #3 (+1) Grant manhandled Strand last week while tossing up 146 points which was the league league. He rolls in this week with the 3rd most points and is in a battle with the commish this week. The battle has the two highest scoring defenses so it'll be an interesting ride for this week. Grant had a solid draft and a steal of a deal with Tevin Colman now that Freeman is injured. Grant come off a disappointing tie in the championship last year and looking to get back to the promise land, he will have a tough task as no one has ever went back to back in the championship round. Look for his high flying team to run into a nice roundhouse by the Donkey Punching Kangaroos this week. #3 - Donkey Punching Kangaroos - Marshall Dalziel - Previous Spot #9 (+6) Like I said I am the commish and I can say what I want so clearly I am going to make the biggest jump in power ranking history. I will have to say I have had some troubles this year with half my team ending up injured but the squad has prevailed and managed to score the 2nd most points thus far. The squad has gotten on the back of Alvin kamara as he balls out every week and hopefully Wentz can figure it out this week after coming off of a knee injury (hell of a long way from his heart). I feel like I will be right in the middle of the pack once the season heads into the playoffs. If the squad can get healthy watch out world as I am broke as hell and need that money since Sandra wants an open bar at the wedding. #4 - Watson Your Wallet - Jesse Doschadis - Previous Spot #4 (+0) So far he is sitting pretty and has another chance to win 3 in a row against the winless Keenan and Bell. He has the 4th most points so it is only fitting he sits in this spot, but he has a solid squad that can make the run to win some money. The funnest thing that can happen is him taking 3rd in the playoffs because him and Deavy were really addimint on getting the 3rd place finish some $$$. I think he can make a run at the money but he has to make sure to slap his "Play Like A Champion" sign before getting out of bed everyday. #5 - Team Ambrosie - Kyle Ambrosie - Previous Spot #2 (-3) The varsity squad is looking well this year and sitting at number 5 in the points for category. He has the worst team name out there, but he probably spent too much time on his JV name so give it some time for the Varsity name. The squad rolls in this week against the recent victorious Rich Homie Saquon's. Kyle needs a big week to keep pace with Mahomes slinging it like a nerf ball, but if the Denver D can slow him down he has a solid chance at moving to 3-1. The one thing that he does have going for him is Ryan Fitzpatrick and his awesome jacket, my boy has thrown the rock all over the yard and dresses to impress. Maybe Kyle can take some notes in that category. #6 - Malley Lamix's TDs - Brandon MacLeod - Previous Spot #5 (-1) Kyles JV team has had a solid year and it is only a matter of time before Kyle makes moves to bolster his squad. If Kyle decides to let the JV squad simmer for next year MacLeod could make a run, but in all honesty probably not. He would get some serious recognition if he is able to pull off the upset on Strand. He has the top three rushers but cannot seem to find the promise land in the W category. Maybe to get his squad going he needs to give a similar speech like Jameis's famous "Eating W's speech." At the end of the day it really comes down to what Kyle needs on the varsity squad. #7 - California Dreamboats - Brooks Miller - Previous Spot #6 (-1) Sunshine....... SUNshine..... SUNSHINE..... rolls in this week at #7 after a rough loss to the commish. Does not help the Bills Mafia came in strong last week and got Cousins to fumble twice and killed his momentum to get out on top. Sunshine gets to battle it out with DillyBop in a game that should be very close and help decide the way each teams season will end up. One other reason that made him drop a spot is his constant cat pics on snapchat, not a huge fan so I added a personal spot to this. #8 - Rich Homie Saquon - Micah Megorden - Previous Spot #10 (+2) BIG MIIIIIIIKE finally got his first W and is riding that high all the way to touchdown city. Saquon has been one of the more electrifying RBs this year and has Mahomes slinging the rock like he is playing flag football in high school gym class. If those two can keep up the production and he can get quality contributions from the rest of his squad he might be able to make a run. He has a team that can sneak into the playoffs, but building for the future I think is even more important than the chance at $600. #9 - Keenan and Bell - Tyler Rustad - Previous Spot #8 (-1) Easily one of the best fantasy names out there, would be better if Bell actually played but that's neither here nor there. After a couple season at the bottom of the well he climbed the ladder to make an impressive run last year. This year he seemed to fall back to his old ways, even with the #1 overall pick. Looking at his squad you would think he should be 2-1 with the talent he has but the fantasy gods are not on his side. He could have a solid week but with the Vikings playing tonight could really set the tone for his chance of getting that first win. #10 - Andreas Big Bussims - Dylan Deavy - Previous Spot #7 (-3) Hahahahahaha the dude kept a kicker but he paid so that's a plus. I feel like having Dylan anywhere by #10 is a disgrace because he loved that spot last year. I will say I am very surprised that he actually has two wins but let's see if he can go anywhere with this squad. He has a lot of faith in "Greg the Leg," which is a bold strategy if I might say. He has a solid game this week against the Dreamboats he just might be putting the league on notice.
